Community First Coalition Sets Candidate Standard on ICE Enforcement

Community First Coalition Statement on Recent ICE Activity in New Hampshire

EXETER, N.H., Aug. 11, 2026. In response to recent ICE activity in New Hampshire, Community First Coalition is making clear how this will factor into our support for candidates going forward.

Different offices have different powers. Our standard is the same. Candidates who have the power to protect their communities from ICE enforcement and choose not to do so do not meet Community First Coalition’s standard for support.

We will apply that standard based on the actual authority and responsibilities of the office each candidate is seeking.
